Our Team Story
Support LALSA Summer Grants
Fuel the Next Generation of Latino Changemakers
The Latin American Law Student Association (LALSA) at CUNY Law stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity for aspiring legal professionals. Our members are driven by a profound commitment to justice and equity, but many face financial hurdles that can hinder their dreams.
A donation to LALSA will fund essential summer grants:
- Public Interest Summer Grants: 8-10 weeks of experiential learning in public interest law
- Bar Study Grants: 6-8 weeks of full time study for the bar exam post graduation
Every donation will pave the way for a future where talented, passionate law students can fully dedicate themselves to their goals and serve communities in need. Together, we can turn aspirations into action and dreams into realities. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to justice.
MISSION: The Latin American Law Student Association (LALSA) sponsors academic, cultural, social, and community service activities to strengthen the presence of Latinos in the legal profession. LALSA serves as a liaison between its members and the administration, the student body, alumni, and professionals in the field. LALSA also works to increase the number of Latin American students at CUNY and to ensure that students receive support to achieve academic and professional success. LALSA is a co-sponsor of a student-organized pre-law workshop for incoming students.
