In December, I will be volunteering with the Healthy Baby Network to provide translation services and emotional support to families detained in Karnes, Texas. Your donation will help defray the costs for attorneys, translators and social workers who will assist with the families' legal and emotional needs.
I know that many of us are frustrated and find ourselves wondering what to do. I can physically be there, so that will be my part, and you can help all of us get to Texas to provide this very important and needed service.

Help us send lawyers and mental health professionals to support refugee families seeking asylum!
Incarcerating refugee families seeking asylum is putting people in jail who have committed no crime. Many children spend months or years in a detention facility while their families' asylum claims move forward, causing trauma at a young age.
As part of our effort to help families build resilience, Healthy Baby Network is working to send attorneys and mental health professionals to assist refugee families and make sure every baby and child has a chance at safety.
Please help us cover travel costs to Dilley, Texas for volunteers who are donating their precious time and expertise to help end the human rights emergency that is occurring at the United States border.
