Team Seth
Last year we received a medical grant from TACA to see the biomedical/MAPS doctor of our choice! That has been such a blessing to get to see a doctor and do testing to dig deeper into Seth's needs. I would love to help raise funds so other families can benefit as well ♥️
TACA provides education and support to families living with autism. TACA has given me hope and taught me to never give up. Will you contribute to my fundraising team and help me support other families on their autism journey?
All about Seth:
Our son Seth is turning 19 during this campaign. We've been on this autism journey since he was officially diagnosed at age 3. He is nonverbal, using a communication app to relay basic needs. He has had seasons of aggressive outbursts that we are still trying to understand though medication has given him some relief. He has retractable epilepsy. He is on so many medications to keep his seizures at bay, and each comes with side effects. We've entered the season of finding resources for adults now, which has been even harder than finding resources for kids. That's why I'm so grateful for TACA! Every step of the way, I know I can find info, education and resources. I love that I can share TACA with other parents looking for help for their children as well. We know we aren't alone and we have a community in TACA!
Thank you for giving to help us meet the needs of more people as more and more children are diagnosed every year. It's an encouragement to our family and shows we are supported as well ♥️
About this Campaign
Team Seth
The Autism Community in Action (TACA) provides education, support, and empowerment to families and individuals affected by autism to enrich their lives. Family & Friends is TACA’s annual fundraising campaign to give families a tool to pay it forward and help other families on their autism journey.
The power of Family & Friends is families sharing their stories, the inspiration of their children, and asking the community to support the organization that helps families every day. Over 18 years TACA families have raised more than $2.3 million to help TACA continue to provide resources and support for families living with autism.
During April, TACA is moving the autism community forward through awareness and acceptance to action. Together we can positively impact the health, well-being, and quality of life of individuals with autism.
We need your help. Will you join us and take action by making a contribution in honor of the children and families that are sharing their personal stories and raising funds to help other families? Support a family’s fundraising team. You’ll be helping to change the life of a child, youth, or adult with autism.
TACA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Federal Tax ID #27-0048002
