I am the Executive Director of the Coalition for Healthy School Food. Anyone who knows me, knows how passionate I am about our cause. I decided to jump in the ring and join my colleague Kelley, our board member Marilyn, and the rest of our amazing team members. Ride in the New York City TD 5 Boro Bike Tour to Raise Funds for the Coalition for Healthy School Food

The Coalition for Healthy School Food (CHSF) is a nonprofit that introduces plant-based food and nutrition education in schools to educate the whole school community in New York City, New York State, and around the country. Your donation will help us provide nutrition education in the classrooms of Title 1 schools in the Bronx, Harlem, and Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and also educate parents, teachers, and food service personnel.

Our programs help students and the whole school community  learn that they are in charge of their own health destiny, using inquiry based learning to become critical thinkers about food. Students learn about their health, and the impact of their food choices on the environment and animals.
