Team Teagan - Bay Area SSF
This is Teagan. She has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) - a treatment resistant form of severe epilepsy. She has suffered through HUNDREDS of DAILY seizures, resulting in falls, bruises, respiratory distress, developmental delays, and more. But she is still fighting, every day, to bring the world more of her amazing smiles and joyful spirit.
We desperately need a breakthrough in research for LGS - for Teagan and the other million+ individuals worldwide who suffer from the relentless challenges of this disease.
Teagan invites you to join us and participate in the LGS Foundation's Walk 'N' Wheel event 'Stepping Together for a Breakthrough' to raise funds for LGS research, Saturday April 25th, 2025! Teagan will use her walker, wheelchair, or adapted bike to put in her steps, raising awareness and funds for LGS research!
Here are some ways you can help:
You can make a donation towards our goal - every $1 counts! Every $100 counts even more!
If you are in the Bay Area, you can join us in person for the Walk N Wheel, on April 26, at Buri Buri Park in South San Francisco!
Your support is very important and we appreciate all of your help as we take Step Towards Finding Cures, Together!
Thank you for raising awareness with us - LGS is tough, but together we can make a difference!

In 2025, the LGS Foundation is making significant strides in research by bringing together leading experts to create formal recommendations for a standard of care for Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS). This consensus opinion project aims to improve treatment and provide a clear pathway for patients, while also advancing LGS research.
The LGS Foundation’s annual Walk ‘n’ Wheel event, which raises awareness and supports the “Finding the Cures, Together” Research Program, is more critical than ever. With over a million people affected by LGS worldwide, the Foundation is rallying the community to drive progress and step closer to a breakthrough in treatments.
