Please join me in fundraising for the Community Challenge, which supports such an important charity in the Lakes Region - the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction. Weird name, important work!
Last year, the Auction distributed $532,000 to charitable organizations serving Lakes Region children and families - and $356,456 of those dollars were raised by Community Challenge Teams!
Many members of Challenge Team Beetle Books (including me!) work at Laconia's own Woodland Heights Elementary School, where we see your donations at work every day. I see kids with winter coats and gear their families couldn't otherwise afford. I see kids going to the Boys & Girls Club and being sheltered by Belknap House. In summer, I see kids going to summer camps and getting healthful food thanks to Laconia's Got Lunch!

Stepping up to help the kids of the greater Lakes Region
The 2024 Challenge is comprised of local businesses, organizations and friends and families who create teams in support of the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction. Working on behalf of the children and families here in our community, these committed teams creatively fundraise their way to Closing Ceremonies, where coveted awards await the top teams in this friendly but spirited challenge.
100% of the funds raised through The Challenge pass directly to the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction. Their mission is to support children in need with a vision to ensure that every child is empowered to succeed and positively impact a thriving Greater Lakes Region community.
