About Baby Bird Care & Raptor Enrichment!

We need your help caring for the hundreds of baby birds we get at the Rescue every spring and summer!
Basic Volunteer Duties:
•Feeding birds (we will train you!)
•Cleaning cages, aviaries, mews, and flight rooms
•Sweeping and mopping floors
•Preparing food of various types
•Washing dishes and bird perches
•Cleaning carriers
•Washing, moving, folding, and putting away laundry
•Social Media Develpoment
•Property Maintenance & Repairs

We also need Volunteers to interact with our Ambassador Raptors and to represent Wild Bird Rescue in educational opportunities.

* Each shift is four hours, or as YOU schedule!

Application Process

If you are interested in becoming one of our dedicated volunteers, call Wild Bird Rescue at 940-691-0828 and request a volunteer information package be mailed to you. You can also stop in and pick one up!
