About City of Pomona Easter Egg Hunt
The City of Pomona will be hosting a FREE community event for which we need volunteers at various sites! This event will be held at 6 parks (one in each district) concurrently, so we are seeking volunteers in support of these events. We are specifically asking for additional volunteers at the following parks:
· Kennedy Park located at 1150 Fairplex Dr.
· Philadelphia Park located at 700 E. Philadelphia St.
· Garfield Park located at 563 Mountain View Ave.
Volunteers are being asked to arrive at 8am and plan to be there until about 11:30am.
Volunteers will be asked to help monitor the “hidden” eggs and make sure the little ones don’t sneak into the area before it’s time. Volunteers can also lead an activity for the families, like potato sack races, or other fun games. If volunteers have any talents, such as face painting or making animal balloons, we'd love that!
For questions, please contact Mary Sinclair, the Recreation Coordinator for the City of Pomona's Development & Neighborhood Services Department and Community Services. She can be reached at (909) 620-2331 or [email protected]
