About Volunteers Needed for United Way's School-Based Mural Project in Recognition of Child Abuse Prevention – Clearances Required
Volunteers are needed to assist Heart2Art and the Wilkes-Barre Area School District students with painting a mural in honor of Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month. After completion, the mural that will be on display at the 2019 Fine Arts Fiesta before it moves to a permanent home in the Luzerne County Courthouse. Duties include assisting artist with student participation, cleaning paint brushes and miscellaneous clean up. The Mural Project will take place on Monday, April 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Meyers High School.
