About Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)

Assist in the preparation of income tax returns for local residents. No prior training is needed. Training will be provided at no cost to the volunteer. Tax appointments are held on Tuesday evenings beginning February 5, 2019 through April 9, 2019. Volunteer each week or select the weeks you are available. Ideal opportunity for retired accountants, accounting students, or those who have a passion for numbers.
