About Altoona Spirit of Christmas Parade

Help United Way of Blair County kick of the holiday season by joining us in the Altoona Spirit of Christmas parade. Volunteers are needed to walk along the parade route with us and help us hand out items to children. Volunteers are asked to arrive at line up at 5:30 pm, and the parade begins moving at 6:00 pm. Volunteers are asked to call or text Melanie Shildt at (814)-330-3883 when they arrive at the parade route to find out where United Way is positioned in the line up. The parade generally concludes by 8:00pm.
