About Good Samaritan's MS Hot Air Balloon Championship

The event is the MS Hot Air Balloon Championship up in Canton at the Multipurpose Center(501 Soldier's Colony Way Canton, MS). We do a 10/30 mile bike ride in the morning, and in the afternoon we do a 4 mile run, golf ball drop fundraiser, and we put on a VIP area for all of our race participants

Saturday, June 30, volunteers will be needed throughout the day. In the morning there will be a 10 and 30 mile bike ride starting at the Canton Multipurpose center.
9 Volunteers to serve as Race Marshals (watching for traffic) (6:00am- till, some people will finish quickly but it shouldn't be later than 10:00 am)
4 volunteers to work a water station (passing out water to runners, would be great for a group) (6:00 am- no later than 10:00 am)
As many volunteers as possible to help setup for the night (9:00ish-till)

The Balloon Chase and Golfball Drop will be held that evening.
3-4 Volunteers to help decorate for the event (3:30 pm-5:30pm) and serve as Race Marshals for the Kid's Race (6:00-7:00)
4 Volunteers to serve food in the VIP area (5:00pm-10:00pm)
1 Volunteer to pour beer (must be 21 +) (5:00pm-10:00pm)
As many volunteers as possible to help breakdown the event directly after the fireworks show at 9:30 pm
