About UMC Foundation Volunteer Corps - El Paso Health Car Seat Safety Program

Help us keep kids safe! Families signed up for this event have their car seat(s) evaluated by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. If the technician finds that the car seat is no longer safe, or it is the incorrect car seat for the child's age, height and/or weight, the family will receive a new car seat, free of charge. The technician will then show the caregiver(s) how to properly install the car seat and provide additional car seat safety education.

Volunteers will be needed for event set up, assisting technicians, directing event traffic, registering participants, weighing and measuring children, general event support and event breakdown.

This volunteer opportunity is open to individuals age 13 and older.

Application Process

Our volunteer application process is flexible and friendly. You can register as a volunteer at www.elpasochildrensfoundation.org or in person the day of the event. There is no background check required.
