About Community Based Mentor

Children in fourth through ninth grade are matched with an adult role model, to engage in healthy activities they both enjoy. Matches meet in the community at least twice a month, in the after school hours. Community mentors offer youth an opportunity to gain broader worldview through increased access to area and regional activities and youth feel they matter to people in their community.
