About Volunteer Opportunities at The Salvation Army Austin

We have volunteer opportunities throughout the year for both individuals and groups. Current opportunities are:
Provide movie/game night basket for kids in shelters
Help maintain gardens at shelters
Event Assistance

To volunteer you must register through our website and attend a one-hour training. Children ages 13-17 can volunteer with a parent or guardian.

Application Process

We require all volunteers to create a profile in our volunteer database. This can be found here: doingmostgood.org/Vol
If a volunteer works with any of our clients, they must complete Safe From Harm training and a background check.

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
