About Volunteer Landscaping
Jackson Zoo staff welcomes all ages to come out and help beautify the park in the morning, then enjoy the animals for the rest of the day. Activities usually include weeding, pruning, planting, raking, picking up trash, limbs and leaves, cleaning fixtures and other common yard work. We highly encourage closed-toed sneakers or work boots, sunscreen and bug spray, and weather appropriate clothing. We also encourage people to bring their own labeled tools and supplies, as sometimes our resources are limited. Each visitor must complete 2 - 3 hours of service to receive free park admission.
Application Process
Arrive no later than 8:15 am. Email Ginger with RSVP.
