About Volunteer at the Grotto

There are plenty of ways to volunteer at the Grotto!

We host a variety of in person events, classes, workshops, and community connection opportunities that often require a point person to be in the space. This is a super easy task that entails directing people through the building, making sure the room is put back in order, and shutting off lights/locking up on the way out.

Additionally we also welcome individuals to join our "stand by" list for sitting in the space when staff cannot be on hand. You are welcome to bring your laptop and work, hang out and read, or fill the time with some of your to-do list while monitoring the space, chatting with members, answering simple questions like "where's the bathroom?", and directing drop ins to contact our community manager for tours and next steps.

Lastly, we welcome anyone who is interested in supporting a local non-profit to join one of our committees that makes programming, events, and fostering of the arts happen! We have open slots available for quarterly meetings.
