About Petco Cat Pal

Every other month, we have the opportunity to have available cats and kittens available for adoption at our local Petco (located next to Best Buy) in Hattiesburg. We need volunteers to complete the daily cleaning and feeding duties of our available cats. All supplies are provided. Volunteers will be expected to handle the cats/kittens properly when removing from cage area, scoop litter boxes, refill and clean water and food bowls, and ensure that all cats/kittens appear healthy. Volunteer will report back to the volunteer coordinator by phone at 601.544.6632 or by email at [email protected] after shift is completed. Shift hours are somewhat flexbile but the best times are during the hours of 9:00am-11:00am or between 3:00pm-5:00pm due to the Petco dog training area being in the cat adoption area; other times can be accommodated. The time it takes to complete the clean up is typically 20-45 minutes and you will be trained by the volunteer coordinator before your first assignment.
