About Reach Inc. Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program was established in 2015 to match Reach clients with community members, in order to expand social and recreational opportunities for the adults with developmental disabilities we serve, while building lasting friendships. The goal is for each mentor/client match to plan at least one fun activity together per month. Possible ideas include: going for a walk or hike, going to the movies, skiing, going out for a meal or coffee, attending a sports game, fishing, bike riding, working on arts and crafts, or checking out a community event such as a farmer’s market or musical performance. We ask both our clients and mentors to make a minimum year-long commitment to this program.
