Michigan Butterfly Network
Is seeks to assess the changing population status of our state's butterfly species, evaluate the quality of Michigan ecosystems. Butterfly monitors train with the Kalamazoo Nature Center and monitor butterflies at KBS!
Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 15 years or old must be accompanied by parent or guardian if younger than 15 years old. Applicants must be detail-oriented, dependable and willing to commit to the sampling season.
Monarch Larva Monitoring Project (MLMP)
Help track monarch populations, understand monarch use of available habitat, and investigate factors that affect monarch populations.
Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 15 years or old must be accompanied by parent or guardian if younger than 15 years old. Applicants must be detail-oriented, dependable and willing to commit to the sampling season.
