About Tutors for High School Alternate Route Program
One of the services we provide at Ms. Smith's Education Services is known as the High School Alternate Route Program through which we provide assistance to high school students ages 16-25 in working towards achieving their high school diploma. Our students in this program could greatly benefit from the help of more one-on-one instruction provided by volunteer tutors in the ares of math, science, government and economics, etc.
Interested volunteers will have the opportunity to volunteer Monday - Thursday each week from 8 AM - 12 PM. We ask that volunteers consider committing to serving on a weekly basis if at all possible and serving at least 1 hour. Volunteers need to be 16 years or older to volunteer.
Application Process
For more information and to sign up to volunteer, please contact Tonya Davis by phone or e-mail at 662-552-5570 or at [email protected]. Volunteers will need to also complete a volunteer application in order to volunteer. This can be done at the site or beforehand - please access out volunteer application under our Documents on our Nonprofit Profile Page here: https://www.givegab.com/nonprofits/ms-smith-s-educational-services/docs.
