About Girls on the Run, Los Angeles
Girls on the Run is a non-profit transformational after school program that helps 3rd -8th grade girls develop health lifestyles through physical exercise and emotional, mental and social development.
Together with other coaches, you lead a team of 8-20 girls through games, activities, and exercise using a detailed, inter active and very fun curriculum.
Our 12-week fall season begins Sept 15 and ends Dec 12th. Coaches are women and men who commit 1.5 hours once or twice a week for 10-12 weeks. The program culminates with a Celebratory 5K Event, but for coaches and girls the finish line is just the beginning! No running experience needed! All abilities, sizes and shapes welcome!
