Freedom Walk Los Angeles
Hosted by: Mount Saint Mary's University
About Freedom Walk Los Angeles
The realities of human trafficking need to be acknowledged and recognized. Thus, LA based agencies have united to educate people on how to identify and report the crime, have and will continue to distribute national and local hotlines, and have and will continue to provide opportunities for the public to engage in combating human trafficking. Join these LA-based agencies in acknowledging Human Trafficking Awareness Day partaking in the Los Angeles Freedom Walk.
If you can't make it to the actual day, you could also participate in Walk 4 Freedom on Saturday January 10th at 9:00a where you'd meet at St. Basil's Church (3611 Wilshire Blvd at Kingsley Drive) and walk two miles through Koreatown, a neighborhood where known cases of human trafficking have surfaced. Bring a bottle of water and carry a sign to raise awareness of modern day slavery. There is no registration or fee required for this walk.
