EmpowHer Institute programs empower girls to demonstrate self-worth, discover their future through education and mentorship, and to become the leaders of tomorrow.

EmpowHer is dedicated to using education, training and mentorship to give girls a safe-space to nurture their potential. We believe in the idea, “your circumstances do not define your destiny”.

Our programs are delivered as part of the school day in “girls only” classes. Students learn life skills, communications skills, financial literacy, leadership and community involvement. Join us as a mentor and inspire girls to achieve greatness.

Programs: Our 20- to 38-week sessions are fully integrated in the school schedule and are taught by school faculty chosen jointly with EmpowHer Institute. Academy classroom modules include life skills, health, well-being, career development, leadership skills, and financial literacy. Career education programs in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) and Entrepreneurship.

Essential and critical to our program are the EmpowHer Institute Mentors -- highly accomplished women in diverse professions and industries who mentor and support our girls one-on-one and in groups. Vetted and trained in half-day sessions, our mentors are role models for our students and guides to the larger world beyond the school and neighborhood.
