About CFY Digital Learning Program
CFY "powering a new generation of learning" (CFY website http://cfy.org/) is a national nonprofit organization that expands and improves digital learning skills in students and families of low-income communities. CFY believes that harnessing digital learning skills will improve educational outcomes. Join CFY 's Digital Learning Program in their mission to bring tech savvy into families of our community! You do not need technical knowledge! CFY seeks volunteers who possess a desire to help families explore new learning tools. If you are interested, please take a look at the Saturday's that CFY's Digital Learning Program will occur and which location they will be held at. CFY hosts two Family Learning Workshops each Saturday; the times are also below. Volunteers can choose to attend the morning, afternoon, or both sessions.
CFY will be hosting Family Learning Workshops on the following Saturdays:
·Saturday, Sept 20 – Dr. Julian Nava Learning Academies (South LA)
·Saturday, Sept 27 – Valor Academy (Valley - Arleta)
·Saturday, Oct 4 – Dr. Julian Nava Learning Academies (South LA)
·Saturday, Oct 18 – Jack H. Skirball Middle School (Watts)
·Saturday, Oct 25 – Stella Middle Charter Academy (West Adams)
CFY's session times are as follows:
·Morning Session – 8 am – 12:30 pm
·Afternoon Session – 11 am – 4 pm
·All day – 8 am – 4 pm
