About AIDS Walk Los Angeles
Join the Community Engagement's MSMU Team as we walk to benefit HIV/AIDS Service Organizations in Los Angeles! AIDS Walk LA is a 10 kilometer (6.2 mile) fundraising walk in West Hollywood Park. The walk takes about 2.5 hours to complete.
This opportunity is open to the entire Mount Community, including students, staff and faculty, alumnae, and friends of the university.
The MSMU Team is hoping to fundraise at least $150 per team member. If we do, we will receive a free AIDS Walk tee-shirt. However, there is no minimum amount needed to participate.
Day of AIDS Walk LA:
Registration: 8:30 a.m.
Opening Ceremony: 9:15 a.m.
Walk Begins: 10 a.m.
Shuttle will leave from Chalon at 7:45 a.m.
Shuttle will leave from Doheny at 8:00 a.m.
Anticipated return time: 2:00 p.m.
Please indicate in the comments section if you will be riding the shuttle, how many people you will have, and which campus you will be leaving from. Comments can not be posted from the GiveGab phone app.
If you would rather, you can meet our MSMU Team at the event site by 8:30 a.m.
Can't join us? Feel free to be a Virtual Walker! You can fund-raise for our MSMU Team and on the day of the event, you can wear a red ribbon and encourage others to join you in virtual support!
