Want to see the Confederate emblem removed from the MS state flag? Join our #TakeItDown committee to participate in and plan education and advocacy efforts aimed at increasing public awareness about the need for state flag change and ultimately, facilitating legislation at the state level to enact permanent flag change. #TakeItDown committee meets monthly to coordinate activity. Not only will you have the opportunity to be part of civil rights history, you will meet other Mississippians who are passionate about equality and social justice.
