Meals on Wheels for Western New York delivers a hot meal and a cold meal to nearly 3,600 homebound clients in our community. In order to make sure that their meals arrive at a safe and appropriate temperature, our hot meals are placed in small ovens as soon as they are prepared, and are kept in them until our meal delivery volunteers reach our clients.

Our current ovens are getting very old, and our number of clients continues to grow along with the aging popular in WNY. We are currently gathering funds to purchase 350 new ovens and 400 covers for a total cost of $220,000. For Spring it On, we are aiming to raise enough money for 10 ovens and covers, a goal of $5,500.
