About Become a Volunteer for Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club

Steps to become a volunteer:
1. Visit the Club to complete a volunteer application
Interview/Screening will be set up
2. Complete Livescan Fingerprinting Clearance. Download the Livescan Fingerprint form, and submit your completed form to your local Livescan location. (Livescan locations near you, can be found at the California Livescan Fingerprint Services website. A fee will be collected at the Livescan location.)
3. Meet with Program Director regarding placement

What we are looking for in volunteers:
--A regular commitment
--Consistent day and time either weekly or monthly
--Timeliness & good attendance
--Dependability
--Willingness to do what is needed and follow all agency rules & regulations
--Flexibility in terms of what tasks you help with
--Talents and interests you can share with the kids
--Follow all rules, regulations, and expectations
--Be a positive influence for the kids at all times
