About Head Start Program Recruiter - Volunteer

Kansas Children’s Service League (KCSL) is seeking volunteers to help recruit families for the Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Southwest Kansas. These programs support low-income families with children ages 0-5, including expectant parents, by providing early education, health services, and family support.
As a Program Recruiter, you will raise awareness of Head Start services and connect eligible families to resources that promote their success.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote Head Start and Early Head Start to families
Identify and recruit eligible families (ages 0-5 and expectant parents)
Attend community events and use social media for outreach
Desired Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the local community
Passion for early childhood education and family support
Comfortable with both in-person and digital outreach
