About Ambassador Program

Ambassador Program at G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical center is looking for individuals with wonderful personalities and a willingness to walk. The ambassadors will escort patients to appointments, take them from various wards for x-rays, labs, etc; assist discharged patients to vehicles, and other necessary movement of patients within the hospital. Ambassadors escorting patients out of the hospital will inquire about the service received during the medical center visit. For inpatients being discharged, ambassadors can remind patients the SHEP surveys will be forward to them and gently request the patient complete and return the survey. Ambassadors will provide customer service support in varied roles at the medical centers.
