About Tyler's Closet

Healing Hearts CAC has established a closet location to provide vital basic necessities for our community’s children who are in crisis and have been removed from unsafe living conditions by DHS. "Tyler's Closet" is named in memory of an eleven-year-old who was tortured and starved to death by the people who were supposed to love him and take care of him. Tyler’s Closet is a way to remember him as a reminder that when children are taken into custody they are being protected from abuse and possible death as happened in Tyler's case.
