About ReStore Donation Volunteer

16 year old and up
We are looking for volunteers to help with preparing donated items for the sales floor. Donation processors are responsible for cleaning smaller items that are donated to us and making sure they are sorted onto the correct merchandise cart to be priced and placed on the sales floor. A wide variety of items come through our doors, you could end up cleaning things like fine china or household appliances. You may also be cleaning things that have been left outside for sometime. These volunteers also may be asked to check some household items and small appliances to see if they are working: Items such as lamps, coffee makers, toasters, and so on.

You must be at least 16 years old to qualify for this position, and you must be able to lift 20 lbs. on a regular basis.

There is an application form, which can be found on the Documents section of our page. We also will run a background check, we do this for all volunteers.
If everything clears you will be invited down to the office to meet with our volunteer coordinator to discuss further details.
