About Animal Welfare Committee

The Animal Welfare Committee consists of members of the Board of Directors and volunteers of the organization. The committee creates procedures and makes recommendations to the Board on policies in regards to the welfare of the shelter animals. The animal welfare committee plays a particular role in deciding if it is in the best interest of the animals to euthanize an animal. The committee meets about once per month.
