About Michigan Energy Fair, Sustainabilty Summit & Emergency Preparedness Expo
The Michigan Energy Fair is a fair/festival atmosphere where people come together to learn about renewable energy, energy efficiency, alternative fuel vehicles, emergency preparedness, sustainable agriculture, sustainable living, and other topics. The fair has about 40 workshops over the two day period.
Volunteers play a key role in the event. We need sharp folks at registration, workshop facilitators, ambassadors who can direct people, parking, exhibitor set up help and other fun stuff.
In exchange for 3 hours of time, volunteers get into the fair free and receive "GLREA bucks" which may be used for food, camping and membership in the organization. We are happy to have volunteers who wish to help out both days.
Application Process

The event will go until 8 pm Friday and 5 pm Saturday with exhibitor tear down following. Also indicate your skills and which type of position you would excel in. We are very flexible with volunteers because we appreciate your time so much!!
