After School Program Volunteer
Hosted by: Eastside Community Action Center
About After School Program Volunteer
Volunteers participate in running ECAC's After School Action Program (ASAP). Tasks include tutoring, leading classroom activities, and serving a light meal.
ASAP is a volunteer-run after school program. That means we encourage you, our volunteers, to contribute not just your time but your ideas as well! Know a fun and enriching educational activity for children? Bring it in!
For student-volunteers interested in a degree in education, serving as an ASAP Volunteer is a great way to get hands-on experience working with elementary-aged children in a classroom environment.
Above all, ASAP volunteers make a difference in the daily lives of children by bringing compassion, commitment, and patience to the program. If this sounds like you, then you are just who we are looking for!
Program runs 4:00pm to 6:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
