About Rock Collector

Do you have a pet rock? Would you like to make one? Our Executive Director can show you how! EPCAMR is looking for volunteers who are interested in collecting rocks of all types to add to our "Box of Rocks" education curriculum that we introduce to elementary students throughout the local schools when we conduct our programming. A Professional Geologist who would like to donate some rocks that are identified would be great! However, we're also interested in those that would like to collect rocks (no larger than fist-size) that are unique and can be identifiable by the region that they've come from. EPCAMR has books that can identify them that can be loaned out as well.

EPCAMR Staff have a great deal of experience in geology and hydrogeology and might be able to help identify them as well.
