About Iron Oxide Resource Recovery Processor
Volunteer at the EPCAMR Office to assist the staff with drying our recovered iron oxide that we remove from abandoned mine drainage treatment systems to reuse in the production of green products, such as wood stains, tie dye t-shirts, paints, construction of wildlife habitat birding boxes stained with the iron oxide, art work, and packaged pigment for sale. We need assistance in drying the iron oxide into a fine powder at our Processing Station in our Office to eliminate the 5 gallon buckets of wet iron oxide that needs to be dried.
The processing only involves using a pestle and mortar, a coffee grinder, placement of the powder cakes, once crushed into smaller fines onto a cookie sheet, and then popping the trays into our soil dryer oven for a few hours before bagging it up in our EPCAMR packaging.
