About Abandoned Mine Drainage (AMD) Water Quality Monitor

EPCAMR is always looking for volunteers who are interested in keeping an eye on their hometown streams, creeks, headwater tributaries, and rivers. EPCAMR will teach you how to monitor for AMD and provide you with a certificate as well. These volunteers will specifically need to be located where AMD is found. Testing kits would be provided on a loaner basis and results only need to be taking on a monthly basis and reported back to EPCAMR to put into our master database. These opportunities are only located in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
