About CrossRoads Missions New Orleans

CrossRoads Missions New Orleans expands community partners’ presence and outreach while providing relationships by bringing together local churches, organizations, and community members through service projects, youth events, and community outreach. CrossRoads Missions provides programming expertise, staffing, funding, volunteers, materials, and other essentials to local partners with identified community needs.

Over the years, CrossRoads Missions has established a thriving network of ministry partners, all of whom are dedicated to serving the city with their own specific expertise, skillset, and passions. We assist individual homeowners and trusted housing development programs that seek to lower housing costs in their neighborhood. During our summer programs, we work with at-risk youth and strive to get them “a step ahead” for school through ongoing academic programs. The New Orleans Mission houses and serves food to 150-200 individuals per day and provides various programs to help people get back on their feet. Other projects include:

-Renovation of homes damaged by hurricanes and other weather events
-Renovation of office buildings
-Maintaining the long-running Capstone Community Gardens
-Organizing and participating in summer programs for neighborhood children
-Serving the homeless in New Orleans
-Maintaining community parks in St. Bernard Parish
-Renovating the Perrin House, which provides lodging for individuals beginning or currently serving in New Orleans
-Constructing a new youth room for The Gathering, a community center in Arabi
-Assisting inner-city outreaches, as well as new church plants
