About CrossRoads Missions Appalachia

CrossRoads Missions Appalachia provides basic human needs, fosters community, revives hope, and enriches lives for individuals and families in Appalachia by connecting area residents to partnering organizations through service projects and youth events. We serve Floyd County, deep in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.

CrossRoads Missions Appalachia serves the residents of Floyd County and the surrounding areas in the following ways:
- Making home repairs for a local individual or family
- Providing meals
- Community outreach and events such as game nights and potlucks
- Repairs and renovations to public facilities
-Gathering backpacks and school supplies for underserved children

We offer four-day, weekend, and week-long volunteer opportunities. Groups typically arrive at 7:30 p.m. on Sundays and depart the following Saturday morning for weeklong trips. Each Wednesday, we take the day to experience Appalachia through hiking, swimming, and tubing/boating at a local state park.
