About Austin Area Urban League: Volunteer Details

The Austin Area Urban League has many opportunities to volunteer. We conduct after-school computer and technology classes and are presently looking for volunteers to assist the instructor. The duties of the volunteer will be to assist in:

Outreach to community youth
Enrollment and attendance record keeping
Supervision of youth
Field trips and much more

Assisting with our youth is just one example of the many ways you can become involved with the Austin Area Urban League.

The Austin Area Urban League Young Professionals (AAULYP) is a service auxiliary to the Austin Area Urban League. AAULYP support the mission of our host affiliate by providing opportunities for young professionals to get involved in a national movement in a local and tangible way. We are advocates for the amazing work of the Austin Area Urban League, and we are committed to carrying on its legacy of empowering residents in the Greater Austin Area and changing lives.

The mission of the Austin Area Urban League Guild is to support the local affiliate by strengthening its presence in the community through fundraising, community service, leadership development, and public relations. The Guild was established to act as a link to enhance local affiliates in program implementation and financial support.
