Willow, registered as Overdue Number, is a bay Thoroughbred mare, born in Virginia on May 11th, 2002. Willow became a Lucky Orphans resident in 2016 when she miscarried her foal and her breeder needed to retire her. Willow's loss helped her "adopt" a filly we had just weaned from her mother. The two new herd members formed a quick relationship. Willow is partially blind, and a happy girl. Willow loves participating in equine assisted reiki sessions and is a very empathetic mare. 

She actively participated in equine assisted reiki sessions and loves to be outside. She is partially blind but Tula, her adopted daughter takes good care of her.
