Thelma's Place

Thelma's Place originated in 2008 in Canby, Oregon and has grown to include our new Redmond, Oregon community which opened in January 2016.

Thelma's Place is dedicated to serving people with Alzheimer's Disease, dementia-related illness and memory loss.

As one of the only Medicaid approved social model day respite centers in Oregon, our goal is to help people with memory loss to remain as independent as possible and to give them good quality of life. We provide a safe, fun, social environment for the individual with memory loss while giving the family or care partner a much need break.

We provide information and support through groups or in one-on-one settings to those caring for someone with dementia, like Alzheimer's, so they have the tools to stay healthy themselves.

We offer activities like arts, gardening, day trips, cooking, daily exercise, as well as aroma, music, pet, art and massage therapies.
