General Facilities/Outdoor Space Improvements

St. James Academy moved from its original location to the current campus in 1972. Thus, making our building and grounds 46 years old. We can use a facelift! While blessed to live in beautiful Southern California, our students need more shade to stay safe from the sun's harmful rays. Funds donated to this campaign will support the purchase of a shade structure and window awnings (which will decrease energy use). In addition, a safe, secure front entrance will be installed to monitor visitors and protect our faculty, staff and students. A gorgeous Torrey Pine tree has lifted our back patio. The roots are a creating a hazard in a high traffic area. The funds from this campaign will remove the current cement, tree roots and be replaced with pavers.
