Projects and Initiatives
Twin Falls Warming Center
The Twin Falls Warming Center is a vital resource providing shelter and support for individuals experiencing homelessness or lacking adequate housing during the harsh winter months in Twin Falls. Equipped with cots, ready to eat hot meals, and compassionate staff/volunteers, it offers a safe haven for those in need, fostering a sense of community and dignity. Through collaborative efforts with local organizations and volunteers, the center strives to address the immediate needs of vulnerable populations while advocating for sustainable solutions to homelessness.
Tiny Home Village
Our Tiny Home Village will be a planned community that will provide affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for people who are coming out of homelessness. We are currently developing the concept, recruiting partners, and seeking funding for this project. With a community of compassion at its heart, this village will stand as a beacon of hope, offering a tangible solution to homelessness through empathy and practical support.
Supportive Housing
Supportive housing is affordable housing with supportive social services in place for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our goal is to increase the number of supportive housing units in our region by providing affordable housing along with supportive services to help those who are homeless overcome barriers to permanent housing. This program includes rental assistance, landlord incentives and case management.
