All Community Members Deserve Access to Safe and Healthy Spaces!

Without adequate resources or community support, the severity of any public emergency increases. For our neighbors experiencing homelessness, the risks are much greater; they are life threatening and require an increased community response.

Exposure to extreme weather, public health crises, and natural disasters severely impact the wellness and health of our community.  During any of these events, unhoused neighbors in Ada County rely on services provided through Our Path Home to stay safe, healthy and supported.

During emergencies in Ada County, Our Path Home and partners respond by expanding safe shelter spaces and increasing resources that can be accessed by our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Expanded services are critical to community wellbeing.

Our Path Home Partners Are Ready to Respond!

Our Path Home’s Emergency Overflow Program ensure our system-wide partners and collaborators are financially supported to help meet the need for accessible space for people experiencing homelessness to safely spend time.

In the face of any of these emergencies and subsequent increased demand, the program helps to ensure all community members can continue to rely on and access the following services:

  • A guaranteed bed for everyone that needs one on a night-by-night basis
  • Expanded space and access to services during the day for folks to spend time
  • Resources and supplies needed to stay safe and healthy

YOU CAN HELP TODAY!

By contributing to this fund, you help ensure that every neighbor experiencing homelessness can access resources they need to stay safe. Contributions support our partners to both increase the number and quality of services they can provide our neighbors experiencing homelessness in the face of increased demand during inclement weather, public health crisis, and/or natural disasters in Ada County.
