Masuk High school robotics was started in the 2010 with 22 high school students and one VEX robot. In the past 9 years we have grown to over 150 members spanning grades 6-12. The program has 18 robots currently registered to compete in the 2018-19 season.
Our student members compete in the VEX Robotics Challenges (Robotics Education & Competitiion Foundation ). To succeed our teams must work collaboratively to design, build, program and maintain their robots over the course of our year long season. This is not an easy task and students spend on average 6 hours a week outside of school working with their teams.
No high school students are turned away from the program all are welcomed. Masuk Robots Team is the largest and most eclectic students group in our school. Our members are athletes, band and chorus members, class valedictorians and students with special needs. We believe that every student has a place to learn and grow with in our program.
