Lock Haven Wrestling Alumni and Supporters,

We are working hard to plan for the future and put the resources in place for our student-athletes during these uncertain times. We appreciate your support as we look to keep Lock Haven in the Top 25 Nationally.

We have had much success over the last couple seasons and are confident that we have the right personnel in place to continue this upward trend. This year’s recruiting class is one of the best in program history with state champions coming from four different states along with five wrestlers that are ranked nationally at their respective weights.

We are fully invested in the future of Bald Eagle wrestling and look to create some special moments for our alumni and supporters for years to come. 

Our program needs your help now, more than ever. We have set lofty goals for the future and we can’t let the recent uncertainty slow us down. There are many financial challenges that we must overcome in the next year and we hope we can rely on your support to get us through it.

The goal of this campaign includes funding of one additional in-state scholarship for Men’s Wrestling valued at $24,000, Team Gear for the 2020-21 Season, additional travel expenses associated with wrestling a competitive Division I Schedule and resources to implement a proper nutrition plan for student-athletes year round.

We will be working relentlessly to come up with solutions to meet the needs of our student-athletes and the demands of our toughest competitors. Lock Haven Wrestling is well known for its successful history and tradition of excellence. This tradition was formed by people like you alongside many incredible student-athletes, coaches and supporters who carry the torch of greatness.It is this support group that makes Lock Haven such a special place to all of us.

2019-2020 Team and Individual Season Highlights

-Lock Haven led the NCAA in bonus point victories
-Lock Haven led the NCAA in Tech-Falls
-Lock Haven was 2nd Nationally for Pins
-Navy Classic 4th of 18 teams (highest MAC team of 6 represented)
-Three Wrestlers ranked in the Top 10 throughout the season
-Team Ranked as high as 22nd nationally
-Redshirt Jon Ross led the country in wins (52)
-5th straight season at .500 win percentage or better

-Five NCAA Qualifiers (Werner, Fehlman, Shoop, Klucker, Siegrist)
-First ever MAC Champion (Siegrist)
-Seven  MAC Championship place winners
-Seven MAC East Wrestlers of the Week
-Kyle Shoop 2nd all-time career wins in program history (130)
-Kyle Shoop all-time tech-fall leader in program history
-DJ Fehlman reached 100 + career wins
-Redshirts combined for 121 victories
-Team GPA 3.22 (22nd in NWCA)
