Greetings OPEN DOORS Family,
What a year! From the release of Fire Through Dry Grass and hosting our first community gala, to an abundance of personal achievements. Gradually movement building, #NursingHomeLivesMatter has continued expansion and each day, we’re meeting new people and catching the attention of change makers and others in the fight. It takes a village, and with the support of a growing community, we made it this far together.
We aren’t done yet! And we’re not slowing down. Our work over the last year has given us a platform to connect with a national audience. This is just the beginning. With your support, we will continue using our art as a tool for healing and change and will continue building community!
– OPEN DOORS Director Vincent Pierce
We are alive, we try things
We make mistakes, we stumble we fall
We get hurt, we rise again, we try again
We keep learning, we keep growing
And we are thankful for this priceless opportunity
Called life.
